“Erica is just wonderful. She has helped my son develop his speech in so many ways. Without her, he would not be where he is! She patiently but steadily encourages growth, practice and development. We love her!”

- Alex, parent

"Erica started working with our 4 year old son very soon after he received his autism spectrum diagnosis. Erica did an awesome job implementing a speech program that helped him with articulation and social behavior. Erica was very professional, encouraging and had an exceptional ability to keep our son engaged and working toward his therapeutic goals. She was equally effective in both in-person and telehealth sessions. She also provided valuable feedback after each session and gave excellent, easy to follow exercises to practice in between our sessions with her. Our son made great strides and improvements while working with Erica and we would highly recommend her."

"As parents you always want someone to listen to your concerns. Well with Mrs. Erica that is what you actually get. A professional who listens and helps you to address your kids needs. She will help you build on your child's strengths and help with their weaknesses. It is also good to know that she will never compare your child to someone else. Mrs. Erica is a compassionate and caring speech therapist. She always took the time to explain things to us. When you did not know of something  by the end of the week or by next session believe me I had an answer. When I say the strategies she has taught my son and techniques to our family is outstanding, words can not describe. My son has autism and when I say she approached him with caring characteristics, and a demeanor that is one thing I will never forget. As a professional she was able to explain things to us in a way that made sense. She helped navigate the difficulty of getting him an argumentative device. She stayed on top of the paperwork and was there every step of the way. We are truly grateful God put you in our life when he did."

"I had the privilege and pleasure of teaching and working with Erica when she was a graduate student. Lucky me! She was smart, creative and fun. My patients and colleagues loved her. Over the years we have stayed in touch and I have watched her career trajectory with some measure of pride. Erica is a caring and thoughtful clinician who continues to grow and add skill and knowledge with every passing year."

"Erica has been wonderful with my son. She keeps him engaged, provides great feedback and offers helpful tips for us to practice at home. I’m so pleased with his improvement after working with Erica. Her dedication is a true testament to his progress."

- Kristen, parent

When we started speech therapy with Erica just before our son turned 5, he had multiple articulation errors, a lisp, no /r/ sounds, and generally didn't talk much to adults other than his parents. He also had difficulties communicating with other children so making friends was hard. It was a challenge to understand him and that was frustrating for him and us, as his parents. I was worried he would start kindergarten and be unintelligible to his teachers, or worse, talk little or not at all which was happening in his pre-school classroom. Erica evaluated my son's speech and determined exactly which sounds and speech habits we needed to work on and explained the plan for how we would progress.

Erica consistently came up with creative games and activities, and engaged our son with discussing things he was interested in to practice the target sounds. It was impressive to watch Erica converse with my reluctant talker and to hear all of the things he had to say when someone really took the time and interest to listen to him and figure out what he was trying to communicate. Erica also trained me as a parent to practice and reinforce what they had worked on in the weekly sessions so we were able to continue to make progress between sessions.

Our son graduated from speech therapy by the end of third grade. Being able to communicate is such a gift.

My daughter had a wonderful experience working with Erica. Erica’s knowledge, patience, and encouragement helped her correct her speech issues, as well as gave her confidence to speak up in social and academic settings. Erica gave me the information I needed to support my daughter outside of her lessons. We are forever thankful for our time with Erica!
